Meal Service

• Fresh meals are prepared daily at Mt. Alverno Center by a professional food service company.

• Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver meals to clients’ homes between 11:30am and 1:00pm every weekday (Monday through Friday), including holidays.

• Both hot meals and cold meals are available. Hot meals consist of meat, starch, vegetable, milk or juice, bread and butter, and dessert or fruit. Cold meals can be added and include a sandwich, salad, milk or juice and dessert.

• Meals are customized to meet dietary needs.

Meal Eligibility

• Meals are provided to homebound and/or elderly individuals who are unable to shop or cook for themselves due to age, illness or disability.

• Deliveries are made to residents within the Village of Warwick and some surrounding areas in the Town of Warwick.

Meal Cost

• There is a modest charge for meals.

• To request meals, call Meals on Wheels of Warwick at 845.986.3389 and leave a voicemail message. A representative will contact you. Meal delivery will start soon after you enroll.
